Toast seems to be a constant source of irritation and I’ve never been happy with those toasters you get in hotels. You put it on the conveyor belt and off it goes, sliding out at the bottom still looking like a piece of bread. So you put it through again to see it roll out cremated. It’s infuriating when you can see in and see the toast burning but are powerless to do anything, however it’s amusing when you set it on fire and have staff running over to turn off the fire alarm.
